I am looking to enrol on a course that gives me an introduction to TS 16949 and have found what looks like an interesting course from a company called excel partnerships. Has anyone used them before, if so was the course any good?
Thanks in advance

I have no direct experience of the Excel Partnership but they are a well known and reputable organization.
There are many other training provideers who cover TS 16949.
I use JPD Training, part of the same group as NQA. Details at:

I have experience with Excel Partnerships for the TS16949 Lead Auditor course, accreditied by what was RAB. Duration was 5 days, with homework each evening, then a 400 word thesis, and a final exam on the last morning
It was a good course and well instructed.

I don't have knowledge of the course you mention, however I've used Excel for QS-9000 auditor training and training in PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, & APQP. The courses were well planned and taught. In all instances I felt that the instructors were professional and presented the subject manner in ways that increased class participation and learning.
I've also used AIAG for similar instruction and felt that they also did a very good job of presenting the subject manner for the courses I selected - upgrading internal auditors to ISO/TS 16949 from ISO 9001 & or QS-9000 and integrating ISO 14001 with ISO/TS 16949.

I also took the course in 2003, they did not discuss the process approach but this might have changed
