Hi All,

Right Now I am in UK. I am interested in effectively utilising my evening time being productive.
Can anyone please please please help me in knowing the best or good Quality Certifiactions that I can take up here in UK. I can't go to classes daily, once in a week is okay or else distance learning is even better....Just take exams and get the Certification. They should be a reputed org.
But I should be able to take exams in next 5 months and complete my certification. If they are linked to AERO domain its still more better.

Thanks for all your time and response in advance.

Please do send the links if you have to personal ID Deleted. Please use the "send Message" option located in the user profile. Just click on the user name above.

There are various domains in quality. It depends, which path would you like to follow, some of them are:

Quality Manager
Quality Engineer
Quality Inspector
Auditor
Quality Coordinator
Quality Specialist

Whatever you follow the trek, I have found ASQ certifications as best. And if you are intending to be an Auditor, then Lead-Auditor is also a good option. But before heading towards Lead-Auditor 5-day training session, first need to be prepared yourself extensively to attempt that kind of certification, as these type of certifications are expensive. It also depends how do you see yourself as a quality professional in future.

Great post, Nadeem!

There are some really good certifications that you will learn a lot. However, identifying your interests, and for many, your qualifications, will best determine such answers.

As Nadeem suggested, possibly consider checking out some refresher courses in your area of interest. Taking an auditing refresher course by an experienced auditor can be one of the best tools you can start a quality career with.

As you are in the UK, check out the website of the Chartered Quality Institute (formerly the Institute of Quality Assurance). It will list courses and qualifications available.

Hi All,

Thank everyone for their valuable suggestion and time.
I am thinking of going for a ASQ certification for CQPA(Certified Quality Process Analyst).
Your comments please

What do you want to gain from the certification?

It would help to know what kind of work you're doing now, and perhaps what direction you want to pursue and which industry.
