Hi,
I have been assigned by my QA Manager to improvement the awareness on Quality Management System. Need everybody opinion what should I do.
My first target to issue Buletin/Newsletter to everybody on QMS issue every 3 months. Yet I dont have any idea what to include in that buletin. Maybe someone can give me suggestion?

Newsletters usually are not my favorite items. But, if adequate time and effort are dedicated to them over the long run, they can be good things.
Mainly, remember your audience of the newsletter. The information and style should be appropriate. How long are you planning the newletter to be?
Educational-You can include some snippets from Deming and other quality folks that you might think interesting.
Informative- Communicate how the company is doing on their quality metrics. % defect, customer complaints, failures, etc. Maybe list what actions were taken to improve the situation.
Possibly focus on a customer. Tell a few things about them so that your employees realize they are making products for human beings; the quality of their work matters.
You have about five seconds to catch their attention on the front of it. Above all, keep it interesting where people will actually read it.

How about brief summary of audit results - mix the conformances with any non-conformances to balance things out. What about the QMR or your Quality Policy / Objectives: how are results tracking against goals? Interviews with Top Management about what the QMS means to them (short answers?:lmao: )? Biographies of your internal audit team? Customer interviews about their satisfaction with your QMS?

Thanks for the information. Anyway I know Newsletter/Buletin it's not a favourite item but I need to start somewhere which can attract people to read and understand why we need QMS.
I'm thinking to issue Buleting/Newsletter every 3 months. I need to communicate to all employees especially operator how important is QMS to the organization.
Although we have noticeboard for each section, yet it still can't improve the QMS. I need something that I can tell especially operator the important of quality and the system also. All this will benefit everybody.

As a fellow Malaysian, I am guessing that you are working for a quasi government or government related organization. If so, then you may be facing cultural problems. Some how, if ex-government servants were to run organizations, they carry along baggage's such as bureaucracy and rigid structures that make implementation of change or systems very difficult.
You have an uphill battle because any effective change has to come from the will of the top.

What is the reason to raise awareness of the QMS ?

HI,
Why I raise awareness QMS? The reason is that to ensure all the respective department or personnel understand the importance of QMS..
We need to show that QMS is one of good agenda for the organization in order to get customer satisfaction and also respect from outside that the organization have the good system and capable to produce good product..
No doubts, some of the organization especially small company can also product good product compare to big organization which have QMS. But I feel we need to give the awareness to those people. maybe because of culture that's why we need awareness..
this is only my opinion.
