Dear all,
Our company decided to implement ISO/TS and we had a Gap Analysis related to ISO/TS 16949, Please find the result of Gap Analysis in attachment. I will be thankful if you advise me your ideas about these results

First: Perhaps you should consider removing the company information from the audit report?

Second: It appears that you do not have a QMS at present? If that is the case, then you need to establish that first.

Third: You may want to get an external consultant in to help you establishing the QMS and properly identifying the processes.

A gap analysis is (or should be) done before a system is established. The purpose of the analysis is determination of what needs to be done in order to formally establish a system, and what currently existing processes already meet the requirements. Every company has a quality management system of some sort, but it might not meet all the requirements of a published standard.

Well, strictly speaking you are right. We have had to make a GAP analysis when transitioning from 9001 to 13485, so I may be a little bit right too :)

Well, you have identified what you want (audit checklist) and you have identified where you are (audit results), now you just need to create a plan on how to go from where you are to where you want to be.

Not knowing your industry, regulatory or statutory requirements, I can only assume that your checklist does actually reflect what you must have. Take each section, assign someone or a team to create a plan and a timeline for making the corrections, put the entire plan together and start working on it. Meet with the representatives from each "project" to make sure that the timeline is being followed and the work is moving forward.

The items that were cited as weaknesses in your WPA audit are the things that you should work on. That information came from somebody's checklist, it might not have been yours, but it was a checklist before it bacame a report (sorry for the misunderstanding). Create your plan for implementation by looking at all the items that need improvement according to that report. That will at least get you a start, and as you learn more you will be able to fine tune your system.

Good luck.
