Hi guy,
I dis search .. could not get anything regarding what I am looking. A bit of background :-
We have just started sample making on product for SE about 3 months ago. As SE is very strictly on quality, system, 5S, Yield etc ... they have specified top people doing audits at interval on our company to ensure we are qualified to be their Supplier.
As usual, all findings must be dealt quickly, reply & re-verification.
At this point, all of sudden, one of the top SE Account Executive is coming soon to discuss about this so-called "lesson learnt" so far since we started doing business with them.
I am not sure what kind of stuffs I need to present to them (of course must be good stuffs & logical) that will impress them so that we can more orders.

I am asking for help to all the experts out there - whether can furnish me some example, text, write-up, template ..whatever - so that I can come out an impressive presentation to my customer.

Thanks

This is a difficult question because I do not know what lessons your company has learned since implementing controls that SE wants--or through implementing controls they didn't ask for.

Surely there is something you can describe.

This would be a tricky subject. You need to be honest because these people could smell a rat or expect things you can't deliver. On the other hand, you do not want to make yourselves seem like the situation was a disaster, because that could make them lose faith in you.

You can pick two or three areas of focus, such as control of processes, preventive maintenance or closely monitoring and improving customer satisfaction by shortening response times. You can give two or three descriptive examples (no more than three) of the situation before improvement, what occurred in the solution cycle and the results in numbers and charts.

This will of course require data collection and analysis. If there has not been any data collected or no improvements have been made, your project will be more difficult.

Get together with a small team and think of some examples you can present. Here are a few links to papers that could help you understand how to write about an improvement project. Making a good presentation could also work.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes.
