Today when I clicked on "Since Last Visit" instead of the last week I got all the posts since January.
Is this a planned changed?
Likewise, when I click the "User Control Panel", I get all old subscribed posts. If I remember right, this section would not show me the subscribed post after I read it.

I've split this off Howard's thread because it's a separate issue from 'Since Last Visit' navbar search link problem.

I'm confirming this issue. I'll investigate. I rarely visit my UserCP so I didn't notice it.
I think it's only supposed to show threads updated since your last visit.

Thanks Marc. This has happened lately may be about a week or so.

Try this and see what happens. Please monitor for a couple days and give me feedback.
Go to the forum home page. Go to the top most navbar where it says "Quick Links" (the link is sorta brownish). It's a 'drop down' menu. Click on "Mark Forums Read".
Let me know what happens.
This link Mark Forums Read (http://elsmar.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?do=markread) should do the same thing.

The thread
FAQ Thread: Poll: QMS (Quality Management System) Manual - The Boss Wants a 4 Page Manual - What to Do? (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=4866)
showed up on my user CP of subscribed threads when someone added a vote, not a fresh post (hjiling's week-old post is most recent) - I don't recall poll threads showing up previously unless there was a fresh post. The subject thread did NOT show up in my "since last visit" list.

Thanks Marc. After doing as u suggested, its working fine.
Btw the navigation bar shows 3 colors viz. Yellow (for User CP, Posts last 24 hrs and Search), White color (FAQ, Regd Visitors List, Calendar, RSS, Since last Visit and Log Out) and Brown Color for Quick Links.
Any significance of colors behind this ?

Not really. Typically they're all the same colour. I made them different colours with the idea that each would be set off from the others and thus be more 'noticable', especially to new folks.

This has always worked this way and been discussed several times in various discussion threads.
It's a software setting. It is set to mark the thread as 'New Post' if a new 'vote' is added. I can turn that off. But, if I do the thread will 'get lost' so to speak. My personal preference is to be 'notified' when a new vote is cast in a poll. That way I (we) know when someone has changed the poll numbers.
Your opinions?

Maybe I just never noticed before. Could be because I don't get email notice of new votes, only new posts and thus ignore the thread when I visit the Cove. Like you, I rarely visit Control Panel.
