I have a 2004 01 12 version of the semiconductors - customer specific requirements.
Are these the latest version or did I miss an update ?

Thanks in advance,

Antoine

The document to which you refer is the Semiconductor Supplement. It only becomes a CSR when a customer specifically requires it.

This docuemnt was mostly written by the AEC (Automotive Electronic Council - http://www.aecouncil.com/)

Recently I noticed that the Semi Commodity document is no longer available from the AEC. That was the only place it was available.

The AEC has a link on their webpage to ask questions.

Here is a question I asked and the answer provided. I believe the intent of the answer is that the document is no longer valid and should not be required as a CSR.

Q. May automotive customers require compliance to the Semiconductor Commodity Supplement, as a "Customer Specific Requirement", as part of TS 16949 certification under the IATF rules for TS 16949?

I ask this because I see that the AEC no longer offers the document.

A. (From an AEC Rep.) - Each customer has their own requirements for semiconductors per TS16949. The Semiconductor Supplement is no longer valid.
