We are moving some lines from Korea to China, does anyone know if there is a general SREA form which can be used for all OEM's? Thanks

Thanks Hi Bruce B. - Can you start with a definition of SREA? My definition is "Supplier Request for Engineering Approval". Bruce B 30th April 2007, 06:23 PM Carol, Thank you yes, that is correct! One of our customers sent us a copy of a Ford SREA form (along with the long list of PPAP requirements) which needs to be approved prior to our move, but some of our line moves involve other OEM's with different customers. OK, Bruce - so for starters - I have moved this to the Automotive Board - I am not really sure if this is where is belongs - but this is a start. Automotive is not my area of expertise - so I will defer to those covers that can help. Bill Ryan 1st May 2007, 09:49 AM Bruce - unfortunately, I'm afraid you're stuck with different forms/formats for each OEM. Although I think one of the original objectives of QS-9000 (way back when) was to help with just this type of situation, it just never materialized. Each OEM still had to have their own slant on everything. |
