Thanks for the reply, Dawn Marc 12th January 2000, 10:40 PM Looking at the APQP book - there is a control plan 'blank' which has several dates: Date (Orig.) - The date of the original document. Date (Rev.) - The most recent revision date. Supplier/Plant Approval Date - The date your company approves the document. There are 4 others with If Required noted - These are: Customer Engineering Approval/Date (If Required) Customer Quality Approval/Date (If Required) Your customer should tell you whether either of these is required. Typically one or the other is required. Other Approval/Date (twice) These If Required dates are typically not used. Dawn 15th January 2000, 07:56 PM Thanks, You straightened me out again. Even if you're just changing header information you should "bump" the revision level on the control plan. This serves as evidence that the control plan has been reviewed, even if there are no substantive changes to it.
