View Full Version : One page overview of ISO 9001 that I could use during new hire orientation qcman 8th May 2007, 07:20 PM I was wondering if anyone has ever came up with of know of a one page overview of ISO 9001 that I could use during new hire orientation? BradM 8th May 2007, 07:58 PM There is a really nice slide that Sidney Vianna provided on the below thread (post #33): ISO 9001 certification (registration) requirements (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?p=193447#post193447) IMO, it's a pretty nice slide for an overview. I am sure he would not mind if you used it, but it might be polite to ask. Don't know if that is what you are looking for. qcman 8th May 2007, 08:50 PM I thought about using that and have for other areas but am really looking for a very short - ISO 9001 is...... type of thing. Funny thing is I sat down to type something simple up and it was like brain freeze  Claes Gefvenberg 9th May 2007, 03:09 AM I was wondering if anyone has ever came up with of know of a one page overview of ISO 9001 that I could use during new hire orientation?Unless you are hiring for specifically QA related jobs: May I suggest focusing on promotion of your QMS rather than ISO 9001 itself? The system is, after all, your interpretation/translation of the standard, and thus much more useful to most employees. /Claes fireonce 9th May 2007, 05:26 AM I think you can write it yourself. SteelMaiden 9th May 2007, 09:59 AM I'm with you, Claes. Focus on your quality system. Mostly I focus on doing the right thing for the right reason at the right time. It was written for 9000:1994, but the text seems applicable to what you are seeking. http://iso9000.msfc.nasa.gov:9001/historical/publications/trifolds/guide_trifold.pdf |
