Hi All,

I saw once a document originated form ASQ with all the wages from US and Canada for different QA positions.

Does anybody has an electronic copy or know where can I find it ?

Thanks.

ASQ's mag, Quality Progress, does a special edition each year in December that is the salary review issue. Earlier in the year, they (ASQ) send out surveys about members' salaries for inclusion in the December issue. If you're an ASQ member, you can access the Dec. 2006 issue via their web site, www.asq.org.

The sad part is ASQ keeps the survey "secret" from non-members. My personal opinion is the members would be better served if the survey results were completely public to assure both employers and employees are aware of prevailing wages.

I have lobbied ASQ on this point for several years, to no avail. Sorry!:(

Perhaps you can find a personal friend who is an ASQ member to download a copy for you or to lend you his password so you can download your own copy if you can't afford the $100 (OR MORE) to become an ASQ member.

Copyright laws prevent us here in the Cove from posting a copy without express written permission from ASQ.

Copyright laws do prevent people from posting the article, however, content published such as percentages and amounts can be duplicated as long as format and wording is not duplicated line for line. We just had a huge email chain this week regarding copyright law with our legal department concerning the reproduction of content internally. So if you have a particular question on a particular salary range for a particular area of the country anyone who has the article can reproduce the numbers (not the article) without infringement, in much the same way we post audit checklists with content from the standards in them.

"excerpt" =
