One of our technical services guys received an email request for information, and one of the questions was regarding whether our products meet the requirements of this standard (actual verbiage: "MIL STD 155D, ISO 9002 certified"...), but I have never heard of it, and after doing a quick search on the internet, couldn't find anything on it there, either. Just wondered if anyone here has any knowledge of it.
(It is entirely possible, also, that this was a typo in the written request for info, since it appears that perhaps English may be a second language of the requester.)
Anyway, I just wanted to check with Covers who are more knowledgeable about Mil Stds and such to see if this is a legit standard.... :D
Thanks!

I see a MIL STD 155A -
MIL-STD-155A: Joint Photographic Type Designation Systems (1955)
DOD/USAF
Communication of Management Information
Canceled by Change Notice 1 dated July 16, 1993. Superseded by MIL-STD-1812 which was canceled without replacement
doubt that helps though.

I could not find a 155D either. It could be the old Mil-Std 105D, which covered inspection sampling.

No, it doesn't help, since our products are not related to things photographic. :(
But thank you for trying.

Well, that's what I was thinking, since it is very similar to the sampling plan of ISO 2859-1:1999(E), which we do use in our incoming inspection process.
Thanks, Miner.
