Team: I am located in the Miami, Florida area and most interested in taking a "registered or qualified" ISO 14000 Lead Assessor class. I am interested in a possible schedule of upcoming courses and/or where I may access a viable web site where such courses are advertised. Regards, :)

www.bsiamericas.com is a good one, so I've heard. (No affiliation)

Thanks for the information. BSI does have a schedule of ISO 14000 Lead Assessor Courses in the US. I sent an inquiry to BSI about the possibility of having the course in Florida. Thanks for the great reference and have a good day. Regards, Ed Gardner :)

Many registrars also offer public training courses, so - while I have nothing against BSi - there's no need to limit yourself to that (DNV, SRI, SGS, UL, etc...plus private consultants). Try an online search for for "ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Miami" and see what pops up. If there are none in Miami, you may be required to travel to the course or, if there are several people at your location also interested, it may be worthwhile to have the instructor come on-site. Keep in mind, however, that if it is a private/onsite class, the organization may not be your Registrar - conflict of interest issue (I think).

I have posted this several times in the past. The www.whoistraining.com (http://www.whoistraining.com) website would help, if they updated the information on a timely basis. I don't know why they have failed to list the DNVTRAINING courses. We have contacted them several times and provided the information. Still our courses are not listed there.

I have a suspicion of why only a few providers have their information on the site, but I better not speculate publicly:mad:

I teach for AQS Management Systems (www.aqsperformance.com). The closest we come to Miami in the near future is New Orleans the week of October 8-12 and Atlanta the week of October 29 - November 2.

I have taken several course through Geogia Tech. I took their ISO 9001 Lead Auditor classes it is was wonderful. They did role playing. They even went so far as to leave the room and change clothes so you could really feel as if you were auditing a completely different person. It was awesome!

I reviewed their "comprehesive catalog" for ISO 14001 training on the site and the only resource I found was Omnex. There must be other training resources out there for EMS Auditor training.

Omnex and Stata Matrix are the only 9000 resources for training.

Sid, why would you provide this as a training resource if they won't even list your training classes? Seems a little odd.

Sid, why would you provide this as a training resource if they won't even list your training classes? Seems a little odd.Because they used to keep the information up to date and accurate. I no longer list them as a resource. As I said before, I could speculate about their ulterior motives for limiting the information about the providers, but prefer not to. I regret having ever mentioned that website as a resource.

I have already suggested to Marc that he could have a similar resource here at the Cove. Maybe one day, we can get the Cove Training Directory up and running.

The most comprehensive listing for U.S. training providers is the RABQSA's; you can do a search for specific certified courses at: http://www.rabqsa.com/rab/cpDirectorySearch.do?action=showSearchForm

You can also do a search of IRCA's database of training providers offering certified courses in the U.S. at:
