Team: Please provide me with viable areas/contacts where a registered (five-day) ISO 9001:2000 Lead Assessor Course can be advertised. The specific course will be taught in the Miami, Florida area. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Regards :)

Did you close a deal and get an "in house" course?

I know no better way to advertise the course than the Cove !

Well, we do charge for advertising here. You might try Google's AdWords or another advertising network.

All of it depends, really, on the specifics. Are you trying to sell a course, or, as tedschmitt asks, did you get an in-house course set up but need a few extra people? Is this for next week, next month, or do you plan to give regular courses?

We need more specifics.

Marc, Thank you for getting back with me. Are you suggesting that the Elsmar Cove Web site charges for course advertisements? In the future, I may be interested in advertising a standard ISO 9001:2000 Lead Assessor Course that will take place around the Miami area. If Elmar Cove charges for advertisements, where can I go to determine the ad rate? Regards,...

might I suggest that you take this to PM's or e-mails. I am sure that it would be more comfortable for all involvled to have business concerns transacted in private.

btw, check your e-mail, I sent you some info earlier. thanks.:bigwave:

Just to clarify... This is really mostly a site for people who need help. Up until December 22, 2003 there were no advertisements. I paid for all site expenses not to mention my time in maintaining the server (and the various software) prior to that time. I was close to taking the site off-line because of time and expenses, but someone convinced me to try Google's AdSense which has turned out to have been a good idea. So - We're a bit touchy here about advertising in posts.

That said, there are some 'favoured' people here who do have some latitude in what they post because of one or more of a few reasons. Examples are Randy, who has been helping out here for (it seems like) forever, and Sidney who is not only a regular participant for years AND his company has, and continues, to support the forum through paid advertising. There are more, but that's an example. Some long time participants here, such as Atul, even have free links in the sidebar because over the years they have helped here so much.

If you are interested in advertising here you can email me (email link is in my profile) after reading the general advertising page (http://elsmar.com/advertising.html), but you might want to consider Google's AdWords or a similar web advertising company (YaHoo, Overture, etc.)

Where you advertise in part depends upon your business model. Print advertisements, such as the ASQ's magazine, is typically a good place to consider.
