Anyone heard anything about the changes to FMEA to happen in the 3rd quarter of 2007? :)

So nobody has heard anything about any changes? :mg:

Not heard anything to date and I have had a quick wiz on the net and found nothing about an update pending.

I am not sure what they would do with FMEA in terms of updating the manual, but I would be intrigued to know what they do change, so if anyone does know about this, let us all know!

Maybe this will be a continuing saga like the 4th edition PPAP handbook

I don't remember who, but somebody was trying to sell me core tool documents and on FMEA it stated edition to be changed in 3rd quarter of 2007. Maybe they were just trying to start the rumor! :biglaugh:

When AIAG says that something will be available in the x quarter of a given year, what it actually means is that it will be available at some indeterminate point in the future, and their guess is as good as yours.:frust:

Similar to the airline words: "Momentarily" and "Shortly." When you hear these words used when you're at the gate, you'll be there for a few more hours (or worse...).;)

You are right!!.. I was talking to somebody that contact AIAG regarding this new FMEA version and they said that it will not be released this year.. that it will be until 2008... hahahaha... something is for sure.. it will be a new version in the future.. but nobody knows that it will be in the near future... hahahaha..
