I would like comments from folks on the differences - advantages and disadvantages of Lead Auditor status/registration through each.

The RAB charges a lot more each year as I understand it. Anyone know much about this or other differences? Please comment!

Personally I perfer IRCA. My overall experience with them has been both more professional and pleasant. Although RAB has improved.

RAB lead assessor requires witnessed audits, which if you do not have registrar contacts, may be difficult at best. IRCA has a sponsor approach. With an interview if there is any question.

As far as credentials being recognized, there is no difference. They are reciprocal.
