Hi,
Regarding Clause 7.5.2 TS-16949, can we validate our production processes on the basis of customer failure returns/customer feedback/customer ratings?
Or what are the other ways to satisfy this clause.
Regards
Rocky

Hello Rocky,
No, because any problem or product issue discovered by the Customer is a failure of the quality management system (and a possible manufacturing process). You cannot be reactive. Validation means that every aspect of the manufacturing process (people, equipment, information, environment, measuring) must be pre-qualified so that the process will do what it was designed to do. Takes a lot of work. But that's the intent of ISO/TS 16949:2002 and hopefully your organization.
Sorry, I can not make it easier.....
Stijloor.

The standard explains exactly the measures to use.
I am sure that you use them in part if not completely.
It really is no problem.
You approve setup
You qualify workers
You have WI
You have parameters for work
You record actions
All these are TS requirements
There is no need to add anything.
