Hi,
Do you have experience with a document exchange procedure between two companies for updating documents?
We are talking about a company that have a product (medical device) that will be introduce in our system (also medical device). They do not have a procedure for updating documents outside their company, but now any change in their documentation/product without notification could have impact in our product.
thanks for your help.

thanks for your help. They can add something to their doc control procedure. They will need to review whether the documents being changed have been distributed to your company, notify your company and issue revised documents.

Because both parties need to notify changes:
-vendor's changes could affect the quality of our product
-Changes in our systems shall be informed to them for approval as agreed.
It is not appropriate to write a specific procedure approved by both parties for this purpose and cross refer it into their procedure.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
