is it good that an inspection body has the reputation to stop delivery of products in most of its inspections because the specification are not respected 100 % ?
if you are such customer , will you deal with such inspection bodies to inspect the bought products in the supplier premises ? with the risk of delaying of delivery products because of its strict rules .

Are you referring to an inspection body accredited to ISO/IEC 17020? Or perhaps operating under the Pre Shipment Inspection and Price Verification portion of GATT? Or some other standard?

Sorry for the delay.....I was out of the country.....
An inspection body can be accredited under the ISO/IEC Standard 17020. Typically an AB that also accredits to ISO/IEC 17025 is the correct AB to discuss inspection accreditation with. Best source to find an AB that is internationally recognized for inspection accreditation is
http://www.aplac.org
The GATT reference is to an emphasis primarily for developing countries for pre-shipment inspection of goods (e.g. Bangladesh to Kenya), where the Government in the country of origin specifies inspections in accordance with the GATT rules, which are fairly rigorous, and includes measures for the product integrity and verification measures to assure fair trade and against price gouging or similar.
The advantage to an accredited inspection body is the internationally recognized third party oversight by personnel that are trained, experienced, and qualified in the specific type of inspections being conducted (e.g., Maritime inspection under U.S. Maritime law, aka COGSA).
The advantage to the GATT approach is that a developing country has a mechanism to acieve and enforce inspections, under direction of the Government, although the oversight may or may not be by personnel directly familiar with the type of inspection.
Hope this helps identify the kind of inspection body in question.
