View Full Version : Special Characteristic Symbols on Prints used by the various OEM's

I would like to know if someone has a spreadsheet (diagram) of the different symbols that are used by the various OEM's explaining the different symbols.

I am busy setting up a diagram for us to use that would explain our internal symbols and how it ties up to the various customer symbols.

e.g. we would have a KPC symbol for safety and it would signify safety and regulations. Alongside that I want to have the different customers symbols relating to safety.

We want to only display our symbol on the FMEA's / Control Plans and have a diagram on display showing the employees how the various symbols realte to eachother.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Trevor

I am unsure if it is readily available anywhere, but Appendix C of the APQP and Control PLan manual has exactly that, a matrix of the customer symbols used by the (notsobiganymore)3.

Does anyone have this as a template that Trevor could use?

Thanks to all for their help. The info so far has been great. Do any of you have information on BMW / FIAT / Peugoet symbols?

I have found some more info on my computer.
See attachment, especially page 2 and 3.

( don't know if they are all correct )

Antoine
