In the mgt. review management is supposed to look at the effectiveness of the system - and for ISO TS all requirements of the system and its performance trends.

Conclusions can be :

1) Activities and processes are effective - No corrective actions necessary - Only improvement opportunities to be checked.

2) Activities and or processes are not effective enough - You have to come up with an action plan with activities, responsibilities and target dates TO IMPROVE EFFECTIVENESS.

Both 1) and 2) should be clear in the report.

Best regards,

Antoine

Hi Millie,

I had a hard time trying to understand your question. You don't come out with just 'a' conclusion from the management review. Rather it's a conclusion for each item in the input which then becomes the output.

How to do it? - refer to Antoine's good response.

I guess my first question is: Which Standard are you talking about?

This thread is posted in the TS16949 forum so I assume that you are talking about TS? If, this question is not regarding the requirements of TS16949, and about ISO9001:2000, I will move this thread to the ISO9001:2000 forum.

Regarding ISO9001:2000: The Management Review Cycles (meetings) are used to identify improvements, the health and so on, in the Quality Management System. Without any Action Items there would be no conclusion, in my opinion, (unless the QMS is "perfect", which in most cases the QMS can always be improved). Now, I believe ISO9001:2000 does identify certain requirements that need to be addressed.

The way you (your company) wants to document the results are really incidental. Any type of document can be used. ISO9001:2000, does not say what type of documents need to be used, only that there is some type of "objective evidence" of the review and any actions taken.

You may also want to look at the bottom of the threads page and you will see that there are other questions that have been asked, and most likely, answered. They might also give you some idea.

I hope this helps.
