Hello filebase,

I hope that I understand your question.
Any document (flowchart, process map, etc.) showing the processes within the QMS and their interaction will do. There are many good examples here at The Cove. You may want to use the search function. Also, look at the links below.

as in explanations on how the processes work. or should that not be needed if the processes are well explained anyway and straight forward?

Hello filebase,

The process maps, flowcharts, etc., are good visual aids. But depending on the learning needs of the Employees, I would certainly explain to them to what it means. It is very important for the Employees to know where they "fit in."

Stijloor is correct.

There is little point in trying to train people to that which they have no part of. People will "turn on" when they sense what they are trying to learn is relevant to them. The trainer's job is to make these people feel the subject is relevant to them and/or develop the training based on the parts that are relevant to them.

That said, there is nothing wrong with a basic training on how to find the manual and the part that is relevant to the trainee. Table of contents, how to understand a process map, reference sections, relationship to the business system, and basic definitions like input, output, metrics and corrective vs. preventive action are things that everyone should know.

These are things for which training should be developed within your company because they should specifically reference your manual is laid out, and how that manula describes the QMS function. (If your manual does not represent the QMS, that's a different subject. :2cents:)
