I am new to this site, can anyone help me, does the scope that is needed for APQP need to be just a few sentences or does it just have to list the bullet points in the APQP manual. Does it have to be something different for each project or can it be the same for each project.:bonk:

For each project that you do you have to define what you are going to do.
If you are build to print, then this is the output of the various reviews of the customer request. As you could say the charter of the team. Who will do what and when.

If you are bulding your own design then you will include all the extras that your company needs to decide if the project is feasable from all aspects.
I think that "Define the Scope" on page 3 of the handbook is quite clear

Hello mwebs,

Attached are some simple sample PowerPoint slides about "Getting ready for APQP"

It summarizes what you should do. Hope this helps a little....
