Try Monster.com :)

I totally agree with Gert.

Also take care that when you upload your Biodata in monster.com, pl add India to your address and also the country code (+91) to your cell number - in short make it look international. ;)

I suggest you also give your current salary in the Euros, perhaps with a note on relative cost-of-living index between India and UK.

Also, avoid using the unit 'lack' (100,000), which is not understood outside the ISC. Better to write out the full number eg. Rs 420,000

Best is to avoid mentioning the salary in the biodata as you have room to play about the figures :D

I am flat out against public posting of resumes, here or Monster or anywhere as simply inefficient at getting the best job. We won't bother exploring the "desperation" which is implied by such posting, nor the issues of privacy, etc. which have become news after the recent disclosure by Monster that its system was hacked and enough details were stolen of candidates to create serious worries about identity theft.

I consistently stand by the methodology laid out in these threads:
Candidates:
Thinking about a New Job for New Year? (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=19619)
http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=19619
Resume and cover letter - How good are yours? (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=10169)

The Job Hunt - Care and feeding of references (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=19094)

Tips to get past the "gatekeeper" when job hunting (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=9325)

as giving candidates the best chance at landing a good job with the best possible pay. In that vein, it is really counterproductive to list current pay scale in a resume or curriculum vita because it pegs the candidate as what he WAS versus what he WILL BE.

Resumes should tailored to the position and company you are applying for. Monster CareerBuilder and other Job posting boards, may get you hits (I have used them) and sometimes they can work out, but Wes does have valid points. The use of Job Boards are like, here in America and maybe elsewhere, is like using the Thomas Register to "blindly" send resumes to the companies. The job boards are a good source, but approx. 80-90% are in the "hidden" market, in my opinion. That is where "networking" comes into play.

Read the threads that Wes has posted.
