In the function of individual distribution identification tool under the goodness of fit tests, the P-value is sometimes a (*).
Nowhere in the help files have I been able to find what this means but I am assuming that it means the P-value is just just highly insignificant as in, 0.001or something.

Is this correct.

sample..

Distribution AD P
Normal 0.957 0.014
3-Parameter Lognormal 0.816 *

Minitab should have had this in the Help section, but fortunately did post it online (http://www.minitab.com/support/answers/answer.aspx?id=1724). Minitab cannot calculate a p-value for certain distributions and displays an asterisk. This gives a detailed explanation of how to interpret the results based on the other statistics.
