Hello again. Apologies if I am not supposed to ask this sort of question, but I am desperate......... I am a director of a medical company developing diagnostic applications. We need to utilise a software development company specialising in medical devices, but can we hell as find one in the UK. Or may be I am just looking in the wrong places. Does anyone know of a company that could assist us with this, whether US, UK or Europe?

What kind of software is it that you need? Can you provide any details? The more info you can give, the better someone will be able to help. :)

If it is documentation or QMS software, I can suggest TrackWise from Sparta Systems (I'm in no way affiliated with this product or company - I was just very impressed with its features and functions during a web demo).

Oh OK, a quick summary: human implant incorporates a sensor which is read via a reader. The reader is scanned across the body, picks up the signal from the implanted sensor and the information is downloaded onto a pc for diagnostic purposes. The software needed is to perform the diagnostic work, it will give detailed diagnostic information such as ECG, blood pressure etc and will determine whether the implanted device is failing or continuing to function correctly. Hope this helps somewhat.

This is very helpful! Unfortunately, I'm not savvy on this type of software. :( But I'm sure that someone here in the Cove will be able to help with some suggestions or recommendations. :)

Hi welshery,

Sorry I can not help you but would give some tips :)

Did u try google - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=software+developers+in+UK+for+medical+devices ?

I got many searches but not sure if this will help you ? Also attaching a FDA document on OTS software, which should be helpful to you.

Thanks for the link. The attachment was very useful, I have not come across that document before. The google search I have been doing that for some days now. But with fresh eyes tomorrow, I will give it another go. I have located a couple of companies in the US who would be perfect and although they seem to be the only ones listed that cover our requirements, we would prefer to have a company closer to home, as I am sure you appreciate. OK, thanks so far.
