Hi everyone,
I have many charts with two separate types of data on them. The charts were created by going to Stat -> Control Charts -> Variables Charts for Individuals -> Individuals. I would like to take the charts from these two different files and layer them on top of each other so that you can see both of the lines at once. Could you please give me some advice on how to go about accomplishing this. Thank you.

Dear Brian,
The only way that i can reccomend to you is to use time series plot.
So go Stat>Time Series>Time series Plot>Multiple. In the box series put the variables. The only problem is that you dont have the any UCL or LCL and the mean line.
So if there is somenone else out there to help you please help us all!!

Dear Brian,
Maybe is been quite a long time since i gave you my help but ithink that i have found a way to really help you solve your problem!!
The way to put several graphs overlayed in the same graph for an I-MR is this :
1. Put your individuals measurements in one column ( lets say C1)
2. Create a second variable column where you state from where your measuerments are ( lets say c2 )
3. Create a new I-MR by Stat>Control Charts>Variables Charts for Individuals>I-MR and in Variables put c1.Then click on I-Mr Options>Stages> In Define stages put c2.
Following you will found attached a graph that i created for my own purpose.Hope that this time i was more helpfull!!

I am hoping this software I am using is going to help. I am looking at these posts on this site and do not know why no one is using the mentoring software for Minitab. I know from experience Minitab can be very confusing, it is difficult to remember how everything works like which data goes in which tools. I have a Minitab tutorial that I use on how to use it with training videos and interactive models. It will walk you through with ease.

My next question is: Are you affiliated with this company? If, so, please specify your affiliation.

If using the software is an affiliation, yes. If you want me to sell it to you , no. There should be enough info on the site to get you where you can get involved in owning this software. They have a little test drive, check it out. I am not the spokes person, I find it very helpfull to use:notme:.
