GMail users - Are you having problems getting new post notifications or other email notifications?

If you've registered recently, did the Registration Activation email go to your spam email box?

I don't have any new-post subscriptions, but I PM notification works OK for me in Gmail.

PM and moderator notifications come through OK.
At one point something went into the spam folder but nothing has since I marked it as "not spam".

No problems at all receiving notifications to my GMAIL account.

As long as I wear my tinfoil hat I seem to get good gmail reception ;)

Again, I don't do thread subscriptions, but PM notifications come through OK to my Gmail account.

I am not a Gmail user. I receive my notifications and all other cove related messages via Small Business Server (Outlook). However today something strange happened, a notification went into my Junk box.

That is the first time it has ever done that, I normally get all Elsmar stuff in my inbox.

Not a big problem, but just thought I should share!

BTW - Email content from here has not changed, so any changes in someone receiving email is due to filter changes by their email provider, whether Hotmail, Gmail or other. As I'm sure everyone knows, I have no control over filtering by recipient accounts.

For those of you who do have some control over filtering of their email, Elsmar.com should be White Listed.

Since Friday, I have not received anything. There were several from the Moderator forum, and ones on the general forum that I did not get.
However, one or two went through today, but not all of them.
They're not going to junk mail or anything; not sure what the deal is.

Just because I saw Hotmail brought up... I'm still not getting anything from Gmail. No notifications of any kind. Nothing in the SPAM either.

There's not much I can say. I haven't seen any bounce notices from them so they're getting the emails.

Jim sent me a test PM today that I received. But the other notifications are not going through.

It's good for the topic to come up to remind people of periodic Gmail, Hotmail and other 'commercial' email services failures. I know this server is sending the emails because they're in the mail log as send and acknowledged received. I have no idea why this happens with some of these email services.

No problems for me.
I do receive responses for the posts.

As odd as it goes away, so does it come back. :confused:Beginning yesterday, I slowly started receiving notifications again. Today, it appeared to be at 100%, with a couple notifications from yesterday. Anyway, just a heads-up.:agree1:

I have no problem with Gmail. It works well.
