Hello,

I am seeking a full time position in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, logistic, production or industry engineering, in Macao, Hong Kong, Zhuhai city China, Singapore, or others oversea. I have about 5 years in the electric and automobile industry, and 2 years in the commercial industry. I'm very mechanically inclined and would prefer to work in an electric, automotive, or commerce related company.

Please contact me via e-mail at wang5169(at)126(dot)com or wang5169(at)yahoo(dot)com(dot)cn.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Peace, did you search websites like monster and jobsdb - they seem to have many openings. Also check the Chinese employment websites.

Wish you best luck :agree1:

If you are limited yourself to these two cities, then the opportunities are limited. These 2 cities have a good service industry, with some textile, electronic manufacturing plants, and not many aotomotive or electrical business.

Good Luck!

I'm surprising and pleased that other guys form P.R.C to log in Elsmar Cove.I'm living and working in Beijing as an Supplier Development Engineer.
Peace,I consider that there are many methods to improve foreign languages such as reading books, listening radio, speak to guys overseas.
Acutally,my oral English is so so otherwise I believe I should have better job due to I believe I have extensive and enough professional experience.

Welcome to visit Beijing during 2008 Olympic Games
Gook luck.

"Practice" would be the most obvious answer, but is it possible for you to join a foreign (business) group in your area that communicates (verbally) in English? What do my Asian Fellow Covers suggest?

Stijloor.

Stijloor, you're right. Now I'm working in an American company. Some Asian Countries like Singapore, Malaysia speak Engilsh. On the other hand, some foreign people like this cover. So we can communicate with them using English.

Totally agree with Stijloor. "Practise Makes Perfect".

Peace, there were many people in our organization whose English was not good but after my joining they had no option but to talk in English and now after 2 years, there is a marked improvement and thyey can communicate in a much better way.

Good luck to you too :agree1:

I've moved this thread to "occupation discussion" from "seeking employment" because it has devolved to a discussion about job hunting in general. As always, I suggest folks start their job quests by reading through the tips offered in these threads (no registration necessary to READ them!)

The pay in China and the places that you mentioned may not be that attractive compared to the pay in the US. You may have to take a pay cut if you are hired directly from from these countries. Your best bet is to apply for job that say,"40% travel to China or Macau", then you got it made. You get paid by US company and lice like a king over there because of the lower cost of living.

I can not agree more with you. Frankly, I don't know how to seek this job with 40% travel to China or Macau. Maybe, the first thing I have to do is rewrite my resume.
