Good morning Covers,

I received a e-mail today from one of our Customers with an attached letter asking us to follow this tool in our Production process of their Product.

Can someone who is familiar with this, give me an explanation or a link so I can inform myself on this. This is the first time I heard about this. Oh, and it is for the Automotive Industry. Thank you guys and gals :D

I believe I found the answer, it is characteristic that passes through to the Customer without any Inspection.

What I found in this thread (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=3673&page=2) is "The official definition is 'Those product characteristics that are supplied to Powertrain plants by outside suppliers, but are transparent to our processing and controls at manufacturing. They may however, affect the Vehicle Operations plant's or buying public.'" Oh! Howard go to it first! :applause:
