EC legislative has finally published the new directive amending the MDD, AIMD and PBD.

As I promised, I finally did all the changes of the 2997/47/EC directive to the previous version of the MDD.

The changes are all in blue italic.

So it is quite easy to spot all the changed sections of the directive.

Some words to the transition period:

Member States shall adopt and publish by 21 December 2008 the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive.

They shall apply those measures from 21 March 2010.
