Hello Al,

I did a search and found various links. Anything here (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Mil+standard+for+electrical+crimping+&btnG=Search) that you could use?
I assumed electrical/electronic connector crimping. Is that correct?

Attached is some info from SAE.

There is a Wire Harness Manufacturers Association that has published "Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies (IPC/WHMA-A-620) that cover crimping both from a standard as well as a defective crimp. Crimping is only one section of the manual. The contact is

Hope this helps. I found it very well done.

al40There isn't a mil-std that addresses this directly. Try the terminal and applicator mfr. They will have the requirements. The primary concern will be the crimp height.
