I have just been asked to research the costs associated with NADCAP accreditation.
Does anyone have a ball park figure for costs?

Does anyone have a timeline/todo that they used for this?

Thanks!
:D

Does anyone have a timeline/todo that they used for this?As part of the timeline, you must pay for the audit 45 days BEFORE it takes place.

Check http://www.pri-network.org/Nadcap/aboutNadcap/process.htm

Anywhere form $4700 to $5500 to start. If you are already AS----?,
It will be less. If you have an AS system you can bypass that part of it.
All info is on the PRI website. Good Luck

You can contact them and get a quote. Our audit, without AC7004 because we already had AS9100, was $4500.

ROM is 6K for the cost of the audit paid to PRI. It depends on the # days required to cover the scope that you are going for.

Time line is min 6 months prior to you audit date to start getting ready by performing your self assesment. If you do not complete the PRI checklists and have findings you can be subject to an additional finding for not preparing ( it is a check list question).

If you are not sure about something call the staff engineer and ask. Most of them are very helpfull. Plus being able to say that you had allready covered something with the staff engineer can swing something borderline in your favor.

Go to the PRI NADCAP website to the public documents.

They have a Pricing guide available for free download.

A quick question. Is anyone familiar with AC7108?
I would like some clearification but since I didn't see any other references to 7108 I didn't want to open a new thread.

Randy,

If you go to the above listed link to PRI and register for free, you will be able to download AC7108 Rev C, Draft 2 (Chemical Processing) for free. It is a 78 page guideline of audit criteria.

All,

I think that we're also overlooking other hidden cost associated with NADCAP accrediation i.e. cost for preparing for audit, manhours, rewriting documentation, maintanance of the cert, etc., this has to be caluclated as well and then you have to ask yourself what is the ROI for having the NADCAP cert.

Best regards,

Agreed! There was the cost of my time to write the NADCAP Quality Manual and Procedures. There will be a cost associated with the training of all of the staff, not just shop people. Then of course there will be costs associated with internal workstation audits. I'm sure there are probably more that I haven't mentioned.
