Last year I went through Lead Auditor Training for the '94 standards. Now my question is this with the advent of the 2000 standards will I have to go through this class again to show competency? I've already been to a familiarity training course. I certainly hope this is sufficient. Skyking

Well...its like this.....what was your motivation for the course? Self improvement or employment?

The course is only valid for 3 years if you plan to become a registered auditor, at best.

If its self improvement, then you decide..... registrars are planning their own update to the new stuff.....probably 1 day.

The principals of auditing are the same, its the requirements that changed, not the skill.
