Not living in the US anymore (lived from 1986 - 1990) I do miss Thanksgiving !!
Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, corn, corn bread.... yummmm

It was great choosing which College friend I could go spend Thanksgiving with, I did make sure and find out which Mom cooked the best !! :lol:

Yes, everyone have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I know this years holiday season will be especially meaningful as my wife and I celebrate it for the first time with our son.

Of all the things I have to be thankful for, I am most thankful for our FREEDOM. Thank a soldier when you see one. Have a bountiful THANKSGIVING one and all in the cove. And a big thanks to Marc, I for one am thankful for what you have done here. And thanks also to the moderators who help make Marcs' job here a little easier.

I did just as Dean suggested during my travels last week. I was flying out of Reagan National to Rochester NY. I thank a solider for his service. He was very appreciative, and it was a surprise to his wife that I thanked him.

While waiting at the baggage return I thanked a solider (young lady). She had been stationed in Afghanistan and was home for 15 days. After our conversation she thanked me for the support.

Yes, I am thankful for the service the people in armed service provide!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I think many times each of us all over the Globe become cynical and discouraged at the minor setbacks we have at work or in our personal lives. However, most all of us have many things to be grateful for.

I do thank Marc for all of his time and effort here on the Cove. If one takes a little time and looks at his posting times, he dedicates a huge amount of his time to assure a good, well operating site. Thank you.

I for one am very thankful. I'm working again:lol:. Received my first paycheck today, hadn't had one of them since 12/14/06! So, yes I am thankful:biglaugh:

And I am thankful for my return to good health and to all the folks who did a wonderful job making me laugh and giving me support. My favorite gift was the Anne of Green Gables hat with the red pigtails that my college roommate sent me. :eek:
