the suppliers were assesed during the supplier audit before approval process.the supplier performane is measured on the basis of quality and delivery are done every month.from this we can identify the supplier performance trend.

but wht i would like to know the risk of the supplier ie few item, we have got one supplier where the shelf life of the item is 45 days.the supplier is supposed to supply all our plant from one location. but shipment time vreries one another. for some plant material reaches in 3 days whereas few it will take 30 days. the plant which has got longer shipment time must utilize the material in 15 days. its very difficult to utilize the entire batch in 15 days. could any one suggest what kind of tools can be used to measure the risk of invidual suppliers.
