i consult a construction company and for sub-clause 8.5.1 i used beside the procedure a form "idea for improvement" and "project lessons learned"
but now i`m interested in joining kaizen in this sub-clause but don not know how
can someone help me and detailed if possible:thanx:

By "8.5.1" do you mean ISO9001?

Click on the Post Attachments List (green button on the top of the screen) and you can search all attachments ever posted for info on Kaizen... the SEARCH button is also an excellent start for searching threads on the subject... scrolling down to the bottom of the page, there are similar threads that can be usefull as well....

Why not just focus on the company's existing processes and help them receive their ISO 9001 certificate before you start implementing new stuff?

There are the obvious questions.....
Have your concepts for improvement included the 2006 International Building Codes (IBC) and/or International Residential (IRC) Codes?
After all, any improvements should take into account the Codes (these and others) as they provide the regulatory environment for acceptance of construction......in particular, pay atention to the IBC Chapter 17.....
I suspect 9k does not truly take this into account............
