need to ask
if the issue date of iso9001:2000 quality system in an organization is 01/01/2008 for example can the organization bring the registration body after only 15 days or less or there must be a duration for application of the system to convence the auditor.:thanks:

I hope that I understand your question correctly. You should present a compliant and workable system to the Registrar. Fifteen days of activity looks very short to me.

Such activity is to ensure the readiness of the system to be assessed for certification purposes.

Audits are done based on objective evidence. Good intentions only are not enough. Certain activities might generate enough evidence of compliance in a couple of days, but, larger, broader process monitoring indicators and other less frequent activities such as design reviews, internal audits and management reviews will probably take longer to collect evidence of performance.

Since the principle purpose of management review is to review the effectiveness of the quality management system, identify any issues and then, depending on what's found, initiate either corrective actions or improvements, it would follow that there should be some evidence of actions resulting from the review. Hence, IMHO, 15 days is unlikely to be sufficient, but it depends on what can reasonably accomplished and the type of business, customer expectations

I believe that most registrars require one MR and a full cycle of internal audits

I believe that most registrars require one MR and a full cycle of internal auditsMost CB's require that because it is a requirement of the IAF Guidance to ISO Guide 62:
G.2.1.43. Certification/registration shall not be granted until there is sufficient evidence to demonstrate that the arrangements for management review and internal audit have been implemented, are effective and will be maintained.
