View Full Version : ISO 17025 Accreditation Audit Tomorrow - Wish Me Luck!
crendfrey 18th December 2007, 10:08 AM Greetings all,
In my extended absence from the cove I have been very busy.
Tomorrow is my full accreditation (17025) audit of the new company we acquired in July. (Hence all of my previous questions upon acquisition)
After considerable difficulty in just keeping them in business, then the education of the customer base, coping with unreasonable customer required time tables, education of the employees ( all of which are willing and enthusiastic) and just plane piles of crap to wade through……
WE ARE READY. Well, as ready as we can be….. for tomorrow.
Wish me luck??
Thanks.
Carol

I appreciate you thinking enough of your Cove home to give us a note to let us know what's going on.:)
sonflowerinwales 19th December 2007, 03:41 PM Good luck Carol, glad the Cove has helped.
One thing I always kept in mind during 17025 assessments, the auditor is not always right!
Let us know how it goes.

Words of wisdom  We've had some bad auditors in the past, just picture 10 minors voided by the staff engineer and you'll get the idea. Be firm, be patient, be aware and you'll do great.
crendfrey 16th January 2008, 10:59 AM Greetings all,
This is truly the first chance I have had to get back here.
My absence has seen our initial accreditation audit, the holidays, and a well deserved vacation (if I do say so myself).
I have a customer audit (FDA) tomorrow and re-accreditation of the parent company Feb. 5th……..
I know, I know….Job security….
Well, here is the update.
The Accreditation of the new company went without a hitch!!!!!!
In fact we had NO FINDINGS AT ALL!!!!! NONE!!!!:magic:
Sorry about the shouting but I can’t help it.:o
The only downfall is this raises the bar for the parent company re-accreditation.
Wish me luck.
PS. I am still waiting for my very lovely piece of paper to hang on the wall…..
