OK, now I know. It is a customized sticker!
Any reputable sticker printer/manufacturer can take your design and print these types of stickers for you. There are (as you have seen) standard stickers available, but many of the manufacturers can produce "custom" work. You may want to call them and find out.
Here (http://www.funphotoart.com/web-graphics/design-a-quality-control-qc-sticker-for-ecommerce-website) is a site where you can "make your own." There are links to other sites.

If you have this design, you can talk to any printer and he should be able to make stickers for you.
Colpart 26th December 2007, 10:40 AM Why use words? Just use colours e.g.
Red = fail/reject
Yellow = hold/pending inspection
Green = Pass
sfkevin 26th December 2007, 11:43 AM Do a web search and I am sure you will find what you are looking for in your area. One I have used will also add company information to there stock stickers, tags, or stamps you can try look at them http://ryanqc.com/

Hi. From reading the other posts, here is my recommendation. If you like the stylish QC stickers, great. However, you should also have the approved, reject, and hold stickers printed with different colors- red, yellow, green (as another person suggested) + maybe even in different shapes and/or sizes too. This is so the QC person does not grab and attach the wrong sticker to the product without fully reading all of the verbiage because of time constraints, etc.
Ajit Basrur 26th December 2007, 09:30 PM Agree with geochaz - the colors are most important and used as "Poka Yoke" or error proofing.
In one of my previous organizations, I had stickers with a Green Tick as "Approved", a RED cross as Reject to have an immediate visual effect.
humtum1977 27th December 2007, 05:41 AM thanks, that what i was looking for.

paultyler 5th June 2008, 03:26 PM some people are color blind, words would be an asset
humtum1977 7th June 2008, 03:05 PM Good Website thanks for that

…some people also can’t read… so a color, with bold letters and a talking stickers would do!... unless you have a very good competence criteria for selecting your workers to identify color blinds and those who cannot read, then I guess a talking sticker wouldn’t be necessary anymore…
...I’m just kidding, OK?... :bigwave:
...thanks for the website’s info… :agree1:
