Does anyone have a copy of the ISO 9000 (especially for software development) mapped to Carnegie Mellon's/SEI's Capablity Maturity Model (level 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5, etc.)?

I can't remember seeing a correlation map per se - but I remember somewhere reading an article which addressed the correlations. Sorry but I can't find it again - I did look.

If you come across any info, please do take a minte and stop back by the Cove forums and let us know what you found and where. I, for one, will very much appreciate it!

I have been researching this very topic for a graduate class.

At www.tantara.ab.ca (http://www.tantara.ab.ca) there is a link to an article called "ISO 9001 and the SE-CMM", dated 1996. It concluded that any organization certified to 9001 would also be at CMM Level 2 or better.

A similar article was available, also via pdf,at http://www.sei.cmu.edu/publications/documents/96.reports/96.ar.iso.vs.cmm.html.
