View Full Version : Software & Consultation Sources needed for Interval Analysis/TAR/TUR.

Hello Everyone,

I have a large task at my facility. We at my facility are moving toward compliance with ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006. I have been nominated to head up the effort. I am looking for sources for consultation and software in the following:

Interval Analysis. Need to consult. Need for software that will enable an efficient and compliant system.

TAR/TUR. Need to consult. Need for software to perform calculations.

I would like to use statistical methods where possible rather than put something in place that would only meet the requirements. I feel that a robust effort up front will provide benefits for years.

Can any of you help with me with finding this information? I have just started on this effort and will use the internet/quality digest for sources. But I would rather use something that has been tried and proven by those of you who have already been through this process.

Please send me any of your thoughts. I would like to avoid pitfalls and I believe that this is the best place for help.

Thank you,
TIMMYS

A good place to start is NCSLI, as they have Recommended Practices (RPs) that can help with the interval analysis; and that is also the organization spearheading the writing of the Z540.3 handbook.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Hershal,

I have RP-1 and have read through it. I am ready to take the next step and implement. I am familiar with NCSL and will look at their site for consulting. I was hoping that someone out there would be working on software applications that could be purchased. I have some software supplier contacts in the statistical world (SPC) and have requested information from them to see if they could help.

I appreciate your feedback and will investigate NCSL again.

Id suggest Quametec Corporation and/or Integrated Sciences Group. Jim and Dr. Castrup can surely assist you in this endeavor.
