View Full Version : Safety Information Incorporated In Production Records

Hello everyone. We are currently "re-vamping" our production records and I wanted to know if there were any regulations stipulating that safety codes (such as NFPA or HMIS ratings) were required to be listed on these production records. We currently have NFPA labeling listed on production records associated with the individual components that make up the batch being produced. I have production personnel that believe this is not necessary and a waste of time and I was wondering if there were any regulations that exist which stipulate safety codes should be incorporated.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Safety Codes in production records? For what, consumer goods or articles?

Anything you want to know about safety related to employees you can find at www.osha.gov

Bottom line, if its related to employee safety stuff, I don't remember it being a federal regulatory requirement.
