Interesting... before I saw Marc closed the other thread, I saw this one and thought " Boy... Randy must have really been full of himself to start his own thread about his schedule".

Good idea, BTW, about setting up a spot for this!

Randy

BRAD Bennigans? 30th? 31st?

And for you folks worrying about my being at home all this time.........here it is about 1:20AM and I'm working on a PAS 99 course.

In the last month I've revised about 6 courses, developed a webinar, done some 2nd gradings on exams, worked with sales and marketing folks and tended to my certification client files. Then there were about a gazillion phone calls.

My last grandmother passed the day after Christmas and I also had to make an emergency trip to Indiana for a few days to take of that.

Then there was a month of "honey-do's" to top it all off.

I have gotten more rest while traveling.

Hey Marc!

I'm flying into Cincinnati on Mar 23rd and will be working in Lebanon, OH from Mar 24th-27th Goodness! Which Lebanon? What's the zip code?

Flying into Cincinnati, I *assume* it will be the one near me (20 miles north east of where I live).

Yep the one less than 20 miles from you. I've got some auditing to do there during that week. Are you gonna be around?

Marc
9th February 2008, 09:23 PM
Right now there's nothing for that week on my calendar.

Thanks for dinner Mark!

Mark and I had dinner tonight after my visit to the ranch (I'm jealous of the variety of birds in the yard). We tore into politics, children, life, money, work, and all that other stuff....it was real relaxing.

You guys out there in Coverland really should try to meet up if you can. I have probably met a dozen or so, and other that Wes everyone has been great:lol:

Next week I'll be in Birmingham (in the UK)

April 21-23 I'm in Northborough, MA

April 28-30 Victorville, California

May 1 Ontario, California

May 4-9 San Diego (whoopee)

If you wanna meet up give me a shout

Hi Paul,

I arrive at the airport about 2PM on April 2nd and will be going directly to the Airport Holiday Inn right next to it.

April 3-4 I'm in training until 5pm or so I guess and Saturday April 5 I'm on my own. I'm leaving out Sunday the 6th.

That's pretty much it.

Randy:
I'm not sure when you travelled to the UK last (were you one of those Americans my Dad spoke of? "Over paid, over sexed and over here?"):lmao:

You may wish to check on what amenities you get in your room before you arrive. I was amazed during my last big visit, just a year or two ago, staying in a Holiday Inn and the Manchester Airport Hilton, there were no face/wash cloths in the bathroom!:mg:

Seems like guests like to 'nick' them...........

Hi Randy,

I'm sure you've seen your hotel description (http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/hibirminghamairport.en.html).

I noticed that internet access is not free. Interesting differences between what we're used to in the US and what's offered "over there." :D

Have a safe trip and a pleasant stay.

Stijloor.

Hello, Randy! Welcome to the Cove!:bigwave: Since you're new, I was going to point out that our gracious host and sponsor is Marc. Mark is the evil twin brother who runs the Cove while Marc is asleep!:lmao:

Randy, visiting with you is a pleasure. Sorry we could not meet last time; I dropped the ball. Let me know when you come back through.

I was amazed during my last big visit, just a year or two ago, staying in a Holiday Inn and the Manchester Airport Hilton, there were no face/wash cloths in the bathroom!:mg: I've got the executive level, so maybe I'll have face towels....I know I get an ironing board for sure.

Seems like guests like to 'nick' them...........

One really, really bad thing....I have to wear a SUIT!:mg: :jawdrop:
Apparently business casual is taking off the jacket late in the day:(

I have never, ever been to the UK and what really stinks is that everyone else gets to go to London, but nooooo, not me.:nope:

And the place will probably be full of foreigners too.

Well here I am in Reno...........

I don't gamble (gambling with money is for sissies, I've gambled with my life)

I don't drink (not much anyway)

I don't really care for the nightlife (too tired and too married)

Oh well, I'll be back in Arkansas on Friday.

Of course, if you do NOT gamble in Reno, they charge for the drinks! No wonder you don't want to drink!:tg:

Same problem with NO gambling, the hotels make you PAY for admission to the shows. Bummer!

Except for the smoke from the California fires lately, I always found it nice to rent a car and go over to Tahoe - much cooler this time of year and VERY pretty. I was always amazed at the size of the pine cones - they seemed as big as [American] footballs!

:topic:I spent an hour driving through part of Arkansas last Wednesday (I-55) - at least the gas prices were low!

Make sure I have more notice next time you pass through Chicago territory - I have some new magic illusions for the barmaids!

You didn't see the nice part of Arkansas there Wes. Drop over the the NWest side sometime.
