Does anyone have an example procedure for product realization specifically 7.1.4 change control. When went from QS 9000 to TS we apprantly have not completely addressed the new standard.

Hello Jerry,

There's no requirement that says you must have one. :nope:

But in case you need something to look at: Change Control (http://elsmar.com/Forums/fileslist.php?mode=allfiles&sortby=filename&pageamt=2&criteria=change+control).

One other idea is to simply insert a change control input on your APQP or Quality Planning procedure if you have one. Again, it isn't required.

Hi jkittle,
In our end, we define Clause 7.1.4 Change Control. All changes are governed by the use of Engineering Change Request that go through a series of approval (Usually department managers) prior implementation. Sometimes, customer is consulted for guidance in such process change. The effects of process changes are verified before subjecting to approval. Changes that are needed for continual improvement are formally presented in the Management Review Meeting, which is composed of all Department Managers.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
