Hello.
I have one big problem. In 2007 we received 70 complaints form one of our strategic customers(about 6 per monht). Currently we received only 2 in January2008. Improvement? maybe yes. I introduced a lot of correcting action. However without the greater result. At present the customer demanded Correctiva Action Plan. I have only a few days for this.
Perhaps somebody of you has some models which it is possible to carry out in molding company. I am grateful for every help. Thanks

Hello Przemek,

Can you perhaps give us some more details what it is your customer is complaining about? That may help us to provide you with a more adequate response.

Stijloor.

I forgot to ask: Does your customer require you to use a customer-prescribed format for corrective action/problem solving?

Yes. We use 8d report.

Hi Przemek

I ran into a similar situation in plastics extrusion several years ago.
While I disagreed with the customer over many of his complaints (and I still curse the guy's name three years later) I had to address them.

What I did was make it into a project with each complaint category being subproject. I pulled together a team and set milestones and assigned tasks.
I plotted these on a Gantt chart and sent updates to the customer every two weeks.

Then I got laid off because I wouldn't relocate for the job, but that's another story.

Yes. We use 8d report.

I looked in my files and could not locate a finished 8D example related to the molding process. I know that there are molding experts here at The Cove Forums. It may be possible that they have an example of a molding releated 8D that they can share.
