Welcome to The Cove Dimkey! :bigwave:
What a job you have chosen for yourself. The nature of your question makes me wonder if you are prepared to address the nature of the work you are considering.
In the movie Memoirs of a Geisha, there is a line that fits: "It is useless to push a cart sideways." For your question I will apply the quote in this manner:
I do not know anyone who can "get" a small or medium sized company to embrace quality management or other stuff. People will embrace a discipline when they are motivated to do so--and there are many threads to read (try a search in the toolbar above, using the key words "management commitment") that may help you understand what I mean.

First of all, Welcome to the Cove !
Why West Africa ? To be honest with you, I would not choose that part of the world for opening a consulting business for QMSīs. Itīs the region of the world with the least amount of ISO certs... Do you have any specific country in mind ?
In regards to getting companies to embrace QMS, it really doesnīt matter the size... to get a company really involved you need one major thing : Upper Management 100000% commitment and involvement.. otherwise it may just work for a while, but soon the company will probably drop it or loose the certification.
