So happy to drop some lines after a long while. I recently went for ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor course organised by BSI UK and i passed the exams. I have some experience as an internal quality auditor from the first company i worked also in the second company where i worked although both are food industries.
I now work in the supplier Quality Assurance Unit in a Telecoms firm but getting enough Audit time to be a full IRCA Lead Auditor is a problem because we are have so much supplier that are planning on having ISO or those with ISO. I have a question and an appeal
1. I want to know how Lucrative Supplier Quality Assurance is in the area where you live if someone moves in that career path
2. I wont mind working for free or just getting something little to have enough audit time if i get the opportunity. I currently stay in Nigeria.

3. (5) Supplier Quality Personnel:
4. In America we try and get one audit a year if TS certified or we look at
the quantity of parts and the cost of parts (for self survey).
5. Maintaining, developing, training, your suppliers is a ongoing now stop job.

Thanks so much for your. The reason i asked is that Supplier Quality Asuurance is relatively new in this part of the world and the interest from the organisation is slowing down because of one reason or the other but i feel because of the training i have on ISO 9001:2000 Quality management syatems i can get a better job in a place where supplier quality assurance is more appreciated especially outside the shores of my country.

Europe or Asian would be nessary or southern Africa would be your best bet.
