I heard from my old employer that a Chrysler Quality Engineer told them that Powerway is going away (at least as a Chrysler requirement). Has anyone else heard that?

Want to know for sure? Ask Chrysler.

I have heard that comment from one client, no one else. If it is true, I don't think it will be overnight.

Want to know for sure? Ask Chrysler. Often companies aren't the first to tell their customers or suppliers what's happening. Not to mention, often internally such decisions aren't always known by everyone so you are liable to get different answers from different people.

Marc - Excellent points. But going to the (primary) source helps to squelch rumors.

True - but it is probably too soon to get definitive answers. After all, Chrysler paid a chunck of money to buy Powerway.

...going to the (primary) source helps to squelch rumors. Sometimes... My only point is there are multiple sources to consider. I've all too often seen a company refute a rumour which later proves to have been true.

Friends,

From the Powerway website:

Powerway Inc. Names H. Dave Chambliss Chairman of the Board (http://www.powerwayinc.com/about/press/pr20080212.asp).
