Hi Amjad, If the national accreditation body have to enter the Mutual Recognition Agreement they have to undergo a peer evaluation by two international accreditation organisations, the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) This peer evaluation means that a team of international peer evaluators evaluates the national system of accreditation to ensure that it does indeed meet the international criteria (ISO/IEC Guides 58 and 61) and that the accreditations granted by that national accreditation body are indeed similar to those granted by other members of the MLA. |
